Radiation and its uses for devices such as mobile phones. How life on earth began and is evolving. Farming methods and natural and artificial chemicals in food and radioactivityAssessment:
You will be assessed by 3 question papers each including a topic in biology chemistry and physics - the can be taken in January or June and there is a terminal exam at the end of the course. Coursework is a personal report on a topical issue and written up of a scientific experiment. - This is marked by the teacher and moderated by OCA and is worth 1/3 of the GCSEWeekly commitment:
You will receive 3 hours supportive teaching and will need to do a further 2 hours work at home per week.This is an intensive course and a minimum 80% attendance level vital.
