In this subject you will learn a variety of 2D and 3D skills and techniques. You will be encouraged to develop your individual ideas and there is an emphasis on research and experimentation.

What Do I Need Join?

A good standard and previous experience of art, combined with good literacy skills. You may also be asked to bring along an example of your work.
Area Of Study: Fine Art. This includes drawing, painting printmaking, sculpture, photography and digital imaging.

Assessment:

You will learn to work independently and produce a personal portfolio of work. There is one module of course work, and one controlled task which lasts for 5 hours. These are weighted 50% each.

Weekly commitment:

One 2 hour lesson and 4 hours of homework.

This is an intensive course and a minimum 80% attendance level is vital.
