BTEC In Hospitality ( level 2)

A BTEC is a practical work related course. The course will give you a good introduction to t hospitality sector. It gives you the opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and understanding that you will need in the world of work. You will visit a select o commercial and catering service settings during the course. A BTEC at level 2 is the equivalent of 2 GCSE grades A to C.

What Do I Need Join?

This will be based on interview. Basic literacy and numeracy skills are required. Area Of Study. Students following this course will take a number of units to prepare them for work within the hospitality sector. Topics covered will include: Investigating the hospitality sector Healthy food Basic culinary skills Planning events.

Assessment:

You will be assessed by a series of assignments which demonstrate your understanding of a number of learning outcomes at Pass, Merit and Distinction grade.

Weekly Commitment:
