The OCR Level 1 certificate / Diploma for IT users (New CLAiT) is a qualification designed to recognise the skills, knowledge and understanding of IT users everywhere. This course will equip you with a basic range of transferable skills necessary to meet the demands of the modern workplace.

What Do I Need Join?

Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Area Of Study:

In this subject you will learn a variety of computer software packages, including File Management, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint And Microsoft Access. The program offers a flexible approach to learning with exams taken according to personal progress, when the Unit is complete.

Assessment:

There will be a controlled test at the end of each unit. You will need to pas 3 units to gain the certificate, and 5 for the diploma.

Weekly Commitment:

2 hours supportive teaching.
