Sports Leaders Award (level 1)

Awards in Sports Leadership is a nationally recognised qualification that enables students to lead small groups in sports and recreational activities.

What Do I Need To Join?

Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Area Of Study:

Units include organisation, planning, communication and teamwork. The course is fun and very practical and is really good experience for students looking to follow a career working with people or children.

The course runs until the end of term four, at which point there is the option to continue onto the level 2 awards in community Sports leadership.

Assessment:

On going log book and assignments.

Weekly commitment:

2 hours supported teaching.
